Better than tweetcaster

I like this app for the speed of delivery of tweets but it crashes every time I add a comment to a re-tweet. Not only does it crash the app, it freezes my ipad. Ive had to do a soft boot every time this happens. So Im not using it again until a working updated version is available

Links dont work anymore. Freezes and crashes a lot.

The iPhone version is fine, and its my default Twitter client. The iPad version not so much. Conversations and other user timelines are narrow and hard to read.

I would like to be able to handle follower requests. There should be a support link in the app itself. I tried many Twitter apps and I do like Echofons features the best when its working properly. There are horribly large video ads that show in a box on lower right and are a major annoyance!!

I find this app the best for multiple accounts and its easy to use for quotes, retweets and many other applications. Unfortunately it rarely loses all of the accounts including my own and I have to enter each one again manually. When you are managing 15 to 20 accounts it is quite a burden. Im curious to know if anyone else has this problem and if there is a solution.

Freezes and crashed a lot requiring you to delete and reinstall. Very frustrating!

its one of the better Twitter apps but I havent been getting any notifications in about a month I open the app and Ill have 20 mentions that I wasnt notified about....please fix this problem

Okay, but how about you guys actually fix the issue where were not getting notifications? Its been like this for MONTHS. Do something about it or else Ill stop using your app.

Was great. Video adds are beyond annoying. Uninstalling.

I switched from Twitter app because I was tired of not seeing my timeline in chronological order. Echofon fixes this issue, but my push notifications dont work (seems to be known issue that they cant figure out how to fix) and you can only see mentions, not interactions. I cant see when someone likes or retweets my tweet! What is the point of this dumb app?

Twitter recently did an update, and now some images are not showing up on here. Please update. Its pretty good other than that.

With the most recent update, now notifications seem to show up several minutes after someone replies to/likes a tweet. So they work, but are just extremely slow, which was not the case with previous versions. The other issue, is that some images do not show up, and when you click the link in the tweet to view the pic it just loads the tweet without a picture. This is also a new issue that did not happen in the previous versions. Other than that, this is still my preferred client and I hope theres a simple fix for these issues. Thanks! Older review (still stands): Ive been using Echofon for a awhile now, and I noticed the most recent update changed the timeline typeface settings. It seems narrower and/or more tightly kerned. For my personal preference, its harder to read than the previous font/format settings. If youd be able to put back the old type/font or add the option to change it (I realize theres the size setting, but Im talking about the shape of the letters and spacing in between them) I would be super appreciative! This is something Id even be willing to pay for. UPDATE (still needs fixing): Never mind, the favorite/liking issue is still there. Ill tap the heart and it wont turn red and Ill keep trying and eventually if I use the options and choose "Like", and go back a screen THEN the heart shows up red. old portion of review: I was going to mention that there used to be an issue with favoriting/liking tweets not registering but that seems to potentially be fixed. Hooray!

I prefer this app because it actually post my timeline in chronological order but it badly needs an update.

Since the twitter update of giving the ability to have 144 characters not inclusive of pics or links, tweets that do have links do not take you there but instead just go back to the original tweet in an endless loop.
