Echofon for Twitter App Reviews

Any suggestions?

I can use all twitter account I have in one place. Different color themes are awesome!

Not working. They seems to be just stealing your information.

Every time it updates something else breaks. I have it set to not autoscroll but it still jumps to the top of my feed whenever a new tweet comes in. Makes it nearly unusable.

Used to be my favorite app for Twitter but does not support group chats or sending pics in messages

Ive been using this app since 2012 and I must say its a great app. The ads are small and it loads pretty fast. I dont use any other Twitter apps- just this one. Lol

The links will no longer open. When clicked, a blank screen appears. After refreshing, the status line never moves past one quarter. Please fix, A.S.A.P. Minus two stars...

Not such a great app. Still cant figure out how to clear my search field and get to any other menu option. If you use search, you will always have those updated search results. Unless you change your search criteria - then you continuously get the new updated search. Forever and ever. Unless you change your search criteria. Its stupid.

App should have interactions (showing retweets, who followed, who favorited etc) to be in the next update as well. I also wish there were more theme options instead of dark & light, want some color themes. It would be nice if the new color themes could have the option to be either dark or light (example: green theme with either white timeline or black timeline) or if the timeline could also be the same color of the theme like when the black theme is selected (everything is black). For example: in the pink theme, the timeline should be a lighter pink. 3/9/14 App should allow user to view who retweets our tweets & how many retweets, as well as who is favoriting tweets. 12/29/15 The update is trash. I do not like the "likes"/hearts in place of the "favorites"/stars. There are also timeline gaps 2/6/16 Issue where you have to "like" a tweet more than once before the heart turns red.

Great app, easy to RT with Comment, easy to Edit tweets. But it has crashed twice in last 4 days; I had to delete + reload. Otherwise 5 stars

For the most part it is good but lately it has been very unpredictable. It wont let me re-add my other account.

......in the next update, can yall have it to where users can reply, retweet & like tweets from the timeline itself? Please & thank you

The latest update has introduced new bugs, like always. The worst one is when clicking on photos or external links, the app seems to open 2 identical windows stacked on top of each other. As a result, you have to swipe out twice to get back to the feed. Viewing someone elses favs is pretty much impossible. It will auto-refresh about every 10 seconds and kick you back to the top of the list. Its infuriating, so dont even try to do it. Searching for a term you have searched before, the app starts to predict it, but its broken and will only narrow it down by the first letter. A few years ago, it would drill down the prediction more as you typed each letter. On a positive note, they finally fixed the black cursor on black background, which had been broken for well over a year. Im guessing they dont test this app very thoroughly. Or maybe the beta testers are just not too bright. Twitters CEO is running the company into the ground anyway. The site isnt as fun or busy as it used to be. This app is still a superior experience to the official one.

Why with every update we cant click links for them to load? This app isnt reliable

I downloaded this app for the first time 2 days ago because a friend recommended it. I have not had any sound when I view the videos. This is very disappointing. I tried multiple ways to find the answer to fix this but still nothing.

Echofon is a great Twitter client for iPad & iPhone.

Ive been using Twitter since its infancy. Ive also been using Echofon for several years; quite the loyal user I might add and I strictly use the app to view tweets. Now Im not certain how long theyve been censoring tweets but I went a friends timeline and noticed that their tweets are not on my timeline. After searching others Ive noticed it is being done algorithmically. To prove my theory I DLd another app to compare. Sure enough, theyre indeed doing this. Ill end this review by saying this. Do not download this app if you support this type of censorship.

I love this app honestly but I think the next update should include an easier option to send and view pictures in DMs. The Twitter app now has gifs in DMs, so why cant Echofon even have simple pictures in DMs? Thats my only concern with it though, otherwise this app is great :)

This app is not the fastest, the regular twitter app is better. This app is only good if you have a 6S
