Echofon for Twitter App Reviews

I dont mind ads in free apps, since I understand that its the means app devs earn money for the app development - but what am I supposed to do with the full screen banner, that does not close when I tap the cross on top?? It makes the app totally useless!

WTF Full screen banners that cant be closed I really like this app but now its impossible to use it at all

I think this is the best app for Twitter so far... But it was a lot better before the last actualization. It used to have the option to do RTs "with comments" even with private accounts. Now you have to copy/paste and do it manually. I miss that option. Bring it back please!

Been a longtime user of echofon for Twitter ever since it was first released. Loved it in every way but occasionally it would have technical issues as expected. Im writing this review because just recently, the notifications completely stopped working. I would have to go on the app just to see who mentioned me, followed me, etc. I even tweeted echofon & did not receive a response. This problem has been going on for months now & until they fix it, I think its time to switch apps for Twitter.

No issues with it - had it for a couple years now and its a dependable app.

Nice app, except for one bug that happens when I click on Trends or Followers in the left side at menu. Problem: I get stuck on that menu and cant click back to my account and live twitter feed. My account name is stuck up at the top of that menu in an "unclickable" zone.

Im perfectly happy with ads in a free app. But when the ads become full overlays, with only the option to opt-in to whatever the ad maker is selling to clear it and see your timeline again, theyve gone too far. I really prefer this to the official Twitter app, but after years of use Im now uninstalling.

Pop up ads are relentless. They even interrupt tweet composition. Literally typing a tweet and I get three pop up ads. The ads make sound effects which also disable any audio Im listening to in the background. Echofon has always been the best Twitter app, but Im DONE with it until they get rid of the pop ups. FIX YOUR EFFING APP.

Ive used Echofon for...ever since Ive been on Twitter. Recently the SPAM ads have made this tool unusable. I have to completely exit and close the app to not click on whatever SPAM has appeared. Looking for a new Twitter app now.

Would be a 5 star but my notifications arent working at all or very late. Ive had this app for a while now and I would hate to change for another app.

Ive used Echofon for like 5 years (it used to be better) but recently its started dropping tweets. It also cant handle polls or embedded tweets so Im looking for a new app.

I used to love echofon so much more than the regular Twitter app but Im getting close to switching over. Push notifications either come 30 minutes late or never which is very frustrating. I also wish theyd integrate the polls option so echofon users could participate.

Ive been using Echofon for years. Today I tried to open the app only to find it was asking me to sign in and re-authorize the app. When I looked at the authorization it stated the Echo would have the ability to post tweets, update my profile and SEE MY DIRECT MESSAGES. This is insane. This app does NOT need all of that. Im deleting it and never using the app or anything from the development company again.

I like the app! Its easy to navigate and works just as well as the Twitter app!
