Echofon for Twitter App Reviews

Ive used Ecofon forever. Its awesome.

This app was good. Can you bring back the swipe to dismiss a picture. Can you add a faster way to view your profile. Having to press Menu to get to it is a hassle. Theres plenty of space especially in the iPad version to put a Profile button off the the left in the a margins. Come on folks

Not really loving this

Several issues including logging out of the account unexpectedly, not being able to tweet, and not receiving notifications, poor sync with ipad.

The update it trash. It was "updating" for over 5 hours and now its just a gray box. My phone wont let me delete the app because it thinks that its trying to update.

This app was performing fine until the update today. Now it crashes every time I open it.

New update..? But how do you search your followers or look for new ones?

Strengths • Distinction - only app that allows scheduled replies and quoted retweets from feed. Weakness • Cant see Scheduled Tweets. Makes management of tweets very difficult. Even a browser view of Buffer feed better than having to leave app to check. Opportunity • Missing FB pages, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Google+ Threats • As FB size, LinkenIn professional influence, and Tumblr SEO become a greater part of social media strategy, apps without them get marginalized by orgs Echofon innovation in this category gives it potential among power users. Worth consideration.

I love this app but suddenly hyperlinks to all websites are not working.

Does everything I need, and nothing else! I cant stand the "official" app.

I dont like the fact that there are like 30 trending topics. Dude. Just provide 10 like u used to. Its annoying.

Ive literally not received push notifications from this app in weeks. Trash

Muted or blocked accounts show up on search results. That is annoying. Needs more display options.

Im very impressed with this app. I like it much better than the Twitter.com app, which I had many issues with. Not having any issues so far!

I havent been getting notifications lately, for a about a a week now, and its getting annoying. Please fix this issue ASAP.

havent been any push notifications for some days now. tried everything & nothing works to fix it

I have used the official Twitter app for years. I use it exclusively as a news feed. But over the last year Twitter has been playing around more and more with how it displays my timeline. Since I use it as a news source Im interested in reading through the time line in order and not without intentionally skipping items. The last straw was when Twitter indicated they would completely rearrange the timeline as they saw fit to "best fit my needs." Thats when I decided to explore alternatives. Ive only been using Echofon for a few months. Its a simple and pretty clean viewer for Twitter. I do miss some features from the official Twitter app like hoe easy it is to view conversations, and look at all the photos in a users Twitter stream. I also really miss being able to swipe up to dismiss an image. One thing I was hating about Echofon was the constant nagging to post a review. I know I could make it stop nagging me permanently, but I did want to write one eventually. But it seemed like it was reminding me every day. So I gave in.

Just downloaded this app yesterday. Really like it, stores a lot of my information. Trying to find the search box now.... lol
